New NC land grant loose document images (“shucks”) have been added to http://nclandgrants.com making a total of 861,000 land grant related images on the website.
These new images include Caldwell, Macon, Mitchell, and Washington counties, as well as the Tennessee counties of Carter, Tennessee, Washington, and Wilson. Images are currently being digitized for Buncombe, Carbarrus, Cleveland, Onslow, and Polk.
Please note that the images are not directly link to a grant, but you will be guided to the general area in the digitized microfilm where you can find them, oftentimes right on the mark.
