The most recent issue of the North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal (volume 47 # 3) has been released. The focus of this issue is on North Carolina land records, and there are two articles by David McCorkle, President of NCHRO: North Carolina Land Grant Records, and Researching Lord Granville Grants. There are a number of other articles covering various types of land records and strategies for using land records in your research. The next issue will also be about in North Carolina land.
